More than 20 years in Assisted Reproductive Technology

I am a senior embryologist, board-certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) as a Technical Supervisor (TS) in two disciplines: Embryology and Andrology.

I spent 15 years at Stanford University Medical Center, where I performed thousands of IVF procedures, led the IVF lab's CAP accreditation efforts, trained the next generation of embryologists, and served as a guest lecturer at Stanford University.

I am also a Past President of the Northern California Association of Reproductive Biologists.

Training across science, ethics and health information

My academic training spans Embryology, Biotechnology, Bioethics, Religious Studies and Clinical Informatics.

I hold Master's degrees in Clinical Embryology (Monash University), Biotechnology (University of Queensland), and Clinical Informatics (Duke University).

Why I created Embryo Care Insights

Much of IVF and fertility preservation happens out of sight, inside the IVF lab.

After two decades working with eggs, sperm & embryos, I wanted to explain what happens there in a way that helps patients make sense of the updates they receive from their clinic.
